The VoiceMaster Educating Teachers on Today’s Youth and Voice Care

Pocholo “The VoiceMaster” Gonzales, together with Voice Care Philippines’ Executive Director Ada Cuaresma, shared their expertise once again to about 150 teachers during the launch of “Creative Ako! Educators Congress” school caravan launch on June 12, 2015, at the San Andres Sports Complex, Manila.

The VoiceMaster introduced Generation Z to the teachers, the young people who dominate the classrooms of today. He explained their lifestyle, behaviors and mindset, and how their lives are built around social media and the internet. He also gave tips and techniques on how to handle them in the classroom.

Ada then did a mini-workshop on Voice Care for Teachers. She explained the challenges and demands of the teacher’s voice in the classroom. She then gave exercises to help improve posture and breathing, and also gave voice care tips.

The workshop ended with 3 teachers sharing their experiences having voice problems in their profession.
