On June 26-28, 2015, the VoiceMaster was invited to do a Voice Care workshop and be a plenary speaker in the English and Education Conference for Professionals 2015, held at the STI Events Place in San Vicente, Tarlac.
Organized by the International TESOL Education and Consultancy Corporation (ITECC), the conference was a combination of plenary talks, workshops, and demo-teaching that showcases 21st-century training methodologies and principles.
On the last day of the conference, Pocholo “The VoiceMaster” Gonzales facilitated a Voice Care for Teachers mini-workshop in the morning, teaching over 100 teachers about the science of taking care of the voice. He also discussed how voice acting skills can help in effective teaching in the modern classroom.
After lunch, he came up on stage as a plenary speaker, speaking about one of his expertise “Understanding the Generation Z”. He spoke about the different behaviors and lifestyles of the young people of today and the influence of technology in their daily routine. The talk about Generation Z helped the teachers to understand their students, and learning ideas on how to engage their students better in class.
