On November 16, Junior Chamber International (JCI) Makati partnered with its sister chapter – JCI Makati Princess Urduja – to host a joint training for 2 of JCI’s training programs: “JCI Achieve” and “JCI Impact”. The training was held at the Ramen Metro, where JCI Makati holds its weekly HUB Night.

The training started with “JCI Achieve” – a training course that introduces current and prospective members to the values and principles of JCI, and their role in establishing their Local Organization’s (LO) identity. It also touched on the mission and vision of JCI, and discussed the needed activities that will help them create positive social change. The “JCI Achieve” training was conducted by Zaira Tumang, 2016 JCI MPU Executive Vice President.

Up next was the “JCI Impact” training, which was facilitated by Ms. Xialen Antonio, also from JCI MPU, and current Area Training Director of JCI Area 2. “JCI Impact” covered the process of creating sustainable community projects as JCI members – with topics such as the concept of active citizenship and community needs assessment. The training also emphasized the need for projects to have a long-term impact and sustainable implementation.
