The VoiceMaster Inspires Aspiring Entrepreneurs at the PBEX 2016

On August 26-28, 2016, Ex-Link Management and Marketing Services Corporation held the 7th Philippine Business and Entrepreneur’s Expo or PBEX 2016 at the Megatrade Hall of SM Megamall in Mandaluyong City. With the aim to support small and medium-sized businesses in the Philippines, PBEX 2016 is a venue for exploring business opportunities, learn the latest trends in SME’s, and to acquire the latest technology and promotional tools for businesses.

As part of the event’s Success Forum, Pocholo “The VoiceMaster” Gonzales was invited to be one of the speakers on the 3rd day of the expo. In his talk entitled “8 to be GREAT,” he told the success story of how he built a successful voice over business, starting from the humble beginnings of his company, Creativoices Productions. He told of how his frustrations as a budding voice artist fueled his desire to open the first voice acting school in the country, the Philippine Center for Voice Acting, and how the school has opened doors for aspiring voice artists like he was 20 years ago.

The VoiceMaster then called on stage 2 graduates of his workshop – Andrew Miravallas and Brandon Roque – who wowed the audience with their voice acting skills, as they took turns showcasing their collection of character voices.

Pocholo then shared his 8 points for greatness and success in being an entrepreneur. He reminded the audience to build a business out of passion, and not out of the motivation to earn money. The 8 points he shared include passion, persistence, faith, purpose, and heart.

The VoiceMaster also announced the upcoming release of his second book, “Gusto Kong Maging Voice Talent.”
