The VoiceMaster Inspires Students And SK Officers of Misamis Occidental In DTI-MOC Youth Entrepreneurship Program

The VoiceMaster inspired the youth of Misamis Occidental in the Youth Entrepreneurship Program last July 11-12, 2019 in the cities of Oroquieta and Ozamiz.

The partnership of DTI, TESDA, MSMED Counsel, Ozamiz Chamber of Commerce, Industry Foundation, Inc and the Local Government Units of Oroquieta made it possible to present the program entitled "Youth Entrepreneurship Encounter: Entrepreneurial MindSetting". The goal of this event is to ingrain the positive entrepreneurial mindset for both the SK officials and students of Misamis Occidental.

The VoiceMaster and Filipino motivational speaker Pocholo De Leon Gonzales are among the speakers. Being the CEO of CreatiVoices Productions, he recalled his entrepreneurial journey as he put up his own company. The crowd loved his re-enactment of a radio drama skit while he perfectly nailed all the characters' voices.

The VoiceMaster encouraged the young attendees to do a business which they are truly passionate about instead of thinking only of what business idea can they profit from. Yes, the profit is important but the foundation of a business should be anchored on purpose and passion.

He discussed the significance of other values given by entrepreneur including building success habits, setting goals and plans, and having a keen eye for every opportunity. 

More than 300 students and SK officers from Misamis Occidental attended the event. YEP! or Youth Entrepreneurship Program is a DTI initiative program focusing on the skills training, mentorship, and providing support networks for young people's entrepreneurship passion.
