At present, Reymar is the station manager of VG8 Online Radio which stands for Voice of Greatness and initiated by VoiceMaster, Pocholo Gonzales. This is their online platform to inspire, discuss, and share different topics.

He is also a rising YouTube vlogger with his channel Ramyer TV currently with 1,000+ subscribers. Most of his content shows the adventures of a voice artist, dubber, and impressionist. Recently, he was on the viral video "This Is My Voice" challenge featuring voice-over artist edition.

Find out how he started taking the steps towards his dreams in this article interview.

Discovering His Passion For Voice Acting Through Impressionism

Reymar can do different impressionism from celebrities to politicians which began way back in his highschool years. At first, he was only goofing around with his voice until he decided to learn more. Kasi 4th year highschool ako, mahiyain talaga ako. Grade 1 hanggang 4th year highschool, mahiyain ako...di talaga ako nagsasalita. Di ako masyadong nagsasalita, di ako talkative. Noong nag-college ako na, doon ako na-develop kasi na-adapt ko na yun from highschool sa New Era (University) hanggang sa naging college ako yun ang naging campus ko. Noong 4th year highschool, doon na-build yun confidence ko.

Convinced and assured that he needed to level up his skills both in impressionism and voice acting, he started to search for more information until he found out about the VoiceMaster. Out of nowhere sabi ko, ‘Wow! Meron palang school talaga.’ Then the VoiceWorx is priced P3,000 lang dati, 2004 mga Batch 2 at 3...pasimula yun ng VoiceWorx. Kaya nag-work muna ako as Med Rep.

The VoiceMaster Opening Doors For The Dreamer: A Rare Chance To Be Handpicked As A Scholar

To become a student of the VoiceMaster in his training program is already a huge opportunity. Imagine more if you're handpicked and personally selected to be one of his scholars, then Reymar has shown his potential and determination as soon as he grabbed this opportunity. He recalled, "“Dahil din sa passion ko. Since high school, gusto ko nang makapasok dito since 4th year highschool noong nalaman kong may voice acting academy sa Pilipinas. Since then, fina-follow ko na rin sa social media si Sir Choy (Pocholo Gonzales) so nakaka-chat ko na rin siya sa workshop. That time nga, P3,000 pa ang workshop noon eh, noong time na yun ha, mga 2004. Doon nabuo yun the Voice Acting Team na halos puro scholars yun."

The VoiceMaster Honing Him As A Leader Early In His Career

Recalling more of his journey, he mentioned how the VoiceMaster entrusted him being the team leader of their respective batch. It is as if the VoiceMaster has already seen more of what he can do, Reymar was appointed as the station manager of VG8 Online Radio in the next months after his free workshop. He narrated, "Ako yun naging team leader, inappoint ako ni Sir Pocholo na ako maging team leader ng the Voice Acting Team Batch 1. Hanggang sa nagtuloy-tuloy na yun. Dati nag-wowork pa ako as a Med Rep noong nagsimula ako rito. Hanggang sa after ilang buwan, after 3 months, nag-decide akong magresign. Full-time ko na siya (CreatiVoices Productions) this year lang din 2019. So from May(seminar)...June, July, August, September. So marami kaming programs na napapasok doon."

He excited shared more milestones in his journey even when he only started becoming a part of CreatiVoices Productions this same year (2019).

Despite being a newbie in the industry, Reymar Peña did not let it stop him to try every opportunity that he sees. This is why even if he's just less than a year with the VoiceMaster, his growth accelerated quickly.
