The VoiceMaster on Eat Bulaga's segment "Bawal Judgemental"

Filipino motivational speaker Pocholo “The VoiceMaster” Gonzales was one of the guests of Eat Bulaga’s “Bawal Judgemental” segment on Thursday, July 1, 2021.

The segment featured motivational speakers on business, leadership, parent-child relationship, student, and communication that had already published more than five books.

Pocholo was one of the motivational speakers “Eat Bulaga” welcomed as guests on the show while Dabarkads from home Crisanta Picao served as the judge.

During the segment, hosts Ryan Agoncillo and Jose Manalo asked Pocholo about his profession and projects.

Pocholo surprised the EB hosts when they found out that he was the face behind thousands of voices. He expressively showed his skills as a voice artist that made the hosts amazed. However, in his previous interviews, Pocholo clarified that he was called as such not because of his repertoire of voice impressions, which included cartoon characters, famous celebrities, and personalities, but because of the thousands of voice artists he mentored.

Pocholo shared his journey on how he became a voice artist. From copying voices on his favorite drama on the radio at a very young age towards realizing it as his passion, and eventually as his profession.

He also shared one of his Pochology, “Ang tunay na mahusay at magaling, hindi kinakalimutan kung saan siya nanggaling.”

Pocholo has been a motivational speaker for over 25 years and already wrote five books. Two of his books are “VOICE CARE FOR TEACHERS: Save your Voice, Save your Career,” which contains strategies, tips, and more on how to effectively give importance to your voice. One of his books as well, named “Gusto Kong Maging Voice Talent,” was successfully awarded in 2017 as the “Best Book on Professions” in the 36th National Book Awards.

“You have to be an ACE communicator. 'A' stands for Authentic, 'C' is for Creative, and 'E' for Enthusiasm," Pocholo said at the show. He added that a speaker should also have the essence of being a communicator. He is truly gifted with various passions and talents. Pocholo is not just a veteran voice artist, radio broadcaster, voice director, trainer, but he is also a published author and a motivational speaker.
