The Voice Master Speaks at The SK 2nd City Congress at Cavite

The Sangguniang Kabataan of Trece Martires City, Cavite held their 2nd City Congress at  Bakasyunan Resort and Conference Center Zambales with the theme, “The SK Innovative, Resilient and Empowered”. It is a three-day seminar started from February 27-29, 2020.  

 

SK City Congress is done annually with the aim to gather all the SK officials to help them learn certain topics that will help them to better serve their community. One important topic to talk about is Leadership which is shared by the Voice Master, Pocholo de Leon Gonzales during the first day of the seminar. 

 

 

Being the Modern-day Jose Rizal, Pocholo used Rizal as an example in achieving one’s goal in life. He said, “Eto lang ang gusto kong marealize ninyo, (sa) edad ni Rizal, napakarami na niyang achievement. Ikaw meron ka na bang achievement?” 

 

The Voice Master is not just a voice actor, director, motivational speaker but is also an advocate of youth empowerment. He challenged the SK officials saying, “One of my goals here is for you to embrace being a Filipino and use the story of Rizal as a basis to have a story that will leave a legacy.” Pocholo, at a young age, achieved a lot of things just like Rizal. He was 16 years old when he became a broadcaster and later on started his career in voice acting.
