Amplify Your Voice: The VoiceMaster Inspires a New Generation of Voice Artists at Tarlac State University
When the students of Tarlac State University tuned in to what they thought was just another webinar, they didn’t expect to walk away transformed. Because this wasn’t about learning lines or perfecting pitch—it was about unlocking the power of purpose through voice.
This is what Amplify Your Voice was truly about—not just voice acting, but voice awakening.
Voice acting is not just about how you sound—it’s about how you show up.
I started with a bold challenge:
“Turn on your cameras. Kung hindi niyo kayang ipakita ang mukha niyo, paano niyo ipaparamdam ang boses niyo?”
Because real communication requires presence. Voice acting isn’t reading. It’s becoming. And before you can speak with confidence, you need to show up with authenticity.
From Bataan to the Booth: A Story of Vision and Voice
I shared my journey: from a small-town dreamer mimicking cartoon characters to becoming The VoiceMaster of the Philippines, voicing over 1000 characters across anime, games, commercials, and dubbing projects. But more than success, I talked about significance—how I used my voice not just to be heard, but to uplift others.
“You don’t need to be famous to make a difference. You just need to be faithful with your gift.”
I introduced them to CreatiVoices Productions, Voice of the Youth Network, VoiceWorx, and Certified Voice Artist Program (CVAP)—platforms built not to glorify me, but to create more changemakers.
The Heart of Voice Acting: Service and Storytelling
We dove into vocal techniques—placement, tempo, pitch, and emotion—but I made one thing clear:
“Voice acting is not about faking a character. It’s about feeling a story.”
Whether you’re voicing a hero, a villain, or a vending machine—what matters is that your voice carries truth. That it touches hearts. That it makes people laugh, cry, believe, or remember.
It’s not about having a ‘nice voice.’ It’s about having a voice with a mission.
Raising New Voices, Lifting New Leaders
I highlighted inspiring stories, like that of Catherine Gale, a blind student who trained under CVAP and became one of our best. I gave scholarships to promising students who showed passion, grit, and humility. And I reminded everyone:
“Your voice will be heard when it carries purpose louder than pride.”
Find It. Love It. Use It.
To all TSU students, and every aspiring voice artist across the country:
You already have what it takes.
You already carry greatness in your voice.
You just need to find it, fall in love with it, and use it—not for applause, but for impact.
“Don’t use your voice to impress. Use it to express. To serve. To awaken. To amplify others.”
That’s the mission. That’s the mindset. That’s the VoiceMaker way.
