Global Voices Unite: How The VoiceMaster is Revolutionizing Storytelling Beyond Pages

Global Voices Unite: How The VoiceMaster is Revolutionizing Storytelling Beyond Pages

At the Global Authors Summit 2018, hundreds of writers, publishers, and storytellers gathered for one goal—to ignite the next wave of global literature. But while many spoke about writing, marketing, and publishing, I came with a different mission:

Your story doesn’t end when the book is written. It begins when your voice brings it to life.

Because in the world of limitless content, it’s not just about being read anymore. It’s about being heard.

Audiobooks give your story another life—and make you immortal.

In my talk, I introduced the five major benefits of turning books into audiobooks, especially for Filipino authors who are now reaching global audiences.

I shared how audiobooks target not just readers—but listeners, learners, and dreamers who consume stories while driving, working, or resting.

People are busy. They don't have time to read. But they will always have time to listen.

Turning your book into an audiobook doesn’t just expand your reach—it immortalizes your voice. Your message becomes part of someone's daily life, forever replayed, forever remembered.

The Untold Story Behind My First Book

I revealed that like many aspiring authors, I wasn't a natural writer.

I’m not a writer. I’m a storyteller.

I collaborated with professional writers to craft my message because the purpose of the book was bigger than my pride. It was about reaching people. It was about giving voice to a movement that would uplift, inspire, and empower new generations of Filipino creatives.

This spirit led to my book winning at the National Book Awards—despite not being a “professional” in the traditional sense.

Voice Acting and Authorship: Two Worlds, One Mission

As a voice artist and audiobook producer, I brought a powerful reminder to the summit:

Imagine a world without voices. No ads. No radio dramas. No guided prayers. No ‘I love you.’

Voice is the first tool of influence humanity ever had—and in storytelling, it remains the most emotional, relatable, and unforgettable medium.

That’s why I’ve produced hundreds of audiobooks for Filipino publishers and independent authors—to make sure the Filipino voice is heard across the globe.

The Rise of Filipino Audiobooks

I broke down the new opportunities:

- Earning new streams of income through platforms like Audible

- Reaching global audiences who prefer audio learning

- Saving costs by going digital, with no worries about book stocks

- Building a personal brand that speaks literally—through your voice

The world will read you. But first, let them hear you.

Your Voice is the Final Chapter

I ended with a challenge to every author in the room:

You are already immortal through your words. Now give your words a heartbeat through your voice.

Don’t just write for yourself. Speak for those who will never get to meet you—but who will be inspired by the sound of your story, long after you're gone.

Because in the end, your voice is not just your sound.

It’s your legacy.
