How to Be U-PO: Leading with Voice, Vision, and Values through the VoiceMaker Principles

How to Be U-PO: Leading with Voice, Vision, and Values through the VoiceMaker Principles

When people ask, “Pocholo, how to be you po?”, I always smile and say:

“Don’t be me. Be YOU. But be the best YOU.”

That was the heartbeat of this seminar—not a how-to on copying success, but a framework for discovering your own greatness through the VoiceMaker Principles.

“You can copy my business, but not my vision, my purpose, my motive.”

Be Original. Your Story is Your Strategy

I reminded everyone that branding isn't about being loud—it’s about being true. When you walk in your own lane, you build legacy, not just popularity.

Kaya nga sabi ko sa mga attendees:
“You can never be me—but you can be the first YOU.”

“Purpose is more powerful than a plan.”

Don’t Just Set Goals—Know Your Reason Why

When you know why you’re doing what you’re doing, productivity becomes passion, and results become revolution. Kaya kahit may problema, tuloy lang—because you're not working for money, you're moving for meaning.

“You don’t get paid by what you do. You get paid by what you give.”

Serve to Succeed

I told the story of Creative Voices, the hundreds of projects, and the thousands of students trained and transformed through CVAP, VoiceWorx, and now, Voice From Home. Bakit? Dahil sa prinsipyo:
“Kung saan ka magaling, doon ka maglingkod.”

“I didn’t just join the voice industry. I changed it.”

Revolutionize, Don’t Just Compete

From being the “voice behind a thousand characters” to building the first voice acting school, to producing Filipino-dubbed anime and games—I didn’t just follow the system. I created a better one. And that’s what I challenge future leaders to do:
“Don’t just compete. Redefine the playing field.”

“Your voice is powerful enough to start a war or say ‘I love you.’”

Use Your Voice to Heal, Not Hurt

That’s why I always remind talents and entrepreneurs alike: Watch your intention. Don’t use your voice to flex. Use it to influence, uplift, and ignite greatness.

Challenge to Future Leaders:

“Do something today that your future self will thank you for.”

You don’t need millions to build something meaningful.
You don’t need fame to make an impact.
You only need one voice, one mission, and the courage to show up authentically.

So how do you become “U-PO”?
Find your purpose. Speak your truth. Lead with love.
