DTI Sec Ramon Lopez Celebrates 59th Birthday; The VoiceMaster Recalls Working Experience With Him

Incumbent DTI Sec. Ramon Mangahas Lopez is jubilantly celebrating his 59th birthday today, October 26. The VoiceMaster, Pocholo Gonzales, remembers his working experience with him in different events and opportunities.

Lopez has in-depth experience in business-related niches and industries. He had been an executive in one of the leading local food and beverage corporations. Before being appointed by Pres. Duterte as DTI Secretary, he served in National Economic Development Authority (NEDA), Presidential Management Staff (PMS), and a leader in the entrepreneurship advocacy of Go Negosyo.

The VoiceMaster also considered Sec. Mon as his GodFather in Entrepreneurship and has been a very big influence in creating the Youth Entrepreneurship Academy since he was the only one that Sec. Mon asks to speak in all Youth Entrepreneurship Summit of the Go Negosyo during the time it was volunteer work.

Ramon Lopez, the Godfather of Entrepreneurship, is one of the influential individuals who inspired the VoiceMaster to become an entrepreneur himself. Believing in his vision to help more Filipinos, the VoiceMaster always finds a way to do speaking engagements for Lopez even if it was pro bono. It was Gonzales' passion too, after all, to inspire more people with his words through public speaking especially for Youth Entrepreneurship since he's also the founder of Youth Entrepreneurship Academy.

In 2009, the VoiceMaster won the Go Negosyo Most Inspiring Bataeño Microentrepreneur Award. It was Lopez who presented the nominees and announced the winner. Together with former Pres. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo and GoNegosyo founder Joey Concepcion, Ramon Lopez joined them in presenting the award to the VoiceMaster.
