The VoiceMaster Speaks at Bulacan State University’s CBA Forum

The College of Business Administration of Bulacan State University held its Corporate Forum on November 9 at the Hiyas ng Bulacan Convention Center in Malolos, Bulacan. Over 1,500 students from different CBA courses gathered at the pavilion to learn about life in the corporate world from the invited guests. The first speaker of the event was Filipino motivational speaker Pocholo “The VoiceMaster” Gonzales.

Pocholo’s presentation was meant to be a survival guide for the students as they enter the professional world. He began his presentation with high energy through a quick icebreaker, followed by a barrage of witty remarks and hugot lines. He then introduced his company, Creativoices Productions, and gave the students a glimpse of his voice acting prowess by doing impressions of several famous personalities, both dead and alive!
When it was time to get a bit serious, Pocholo shared his life and career as a youth advocate, an entrepreneur and a motivational speaker. He inspired the students about discovering their life’s purpose even at a young age. For Pocholo, even students can become professionals, as long as they give their best and be excellent in what they do.

Pocholo also talked about passion and dedication. He told the story of the rejection and frustrations he encountered, having started his career in voice acting at age 16. Pocholo told the participants that despite those challenges, his passion for his craft fueled him not only to overcome the odds, but also to do something that’s never been done before – to open the industry to those who aspire to be in it.

Pocholo then shared a lot of inspiring insights to the students, like his words of wisdom and also the 5 questions to help one discover his/her life purpose. In the end, Pocholo left the students with his Pochology “Availability is the best ability,” and challenged the students to make themselves available to grab opportunities that come their way.
Pocholo’s fellow speakers in the event included Manu Respall – also known as Mr. Speaks – and Sean Si.
