The VoiceMaster Inspires Business Students in Angeles City, Pampanga

Over 1,000 students from various colleges and universities in Angeles City gathered at the Angeles University Foundation’s Sports and Cultural Center for the Regional Business Students’ Summit. With the theme “Building Business Leaders Through Virtual Enterprise and Mobility,” the event is geared towards inspiring Business students to pursue their own entrepreneurial journey. The summit also featured three resource speakers who shared their expertise about the topic.

Filipino motivational speaker Pocholo “The VoiceMaster” Gonzales was one of the resource speakers, who spoke about Entrepreneurial Mindset. As a Go Negosyo speaker and mentor, Pocholo has been teaching entrepreneurs the mindset that makes a person succeed in business. He shared his entrepreneurial journey, from the time he started his voice acting career at age 16, to establishing his own voice over services company, Creativoices Productions. He amazed the audience with voice impressions of famous celebrities and characters.

Pocholo shared the hurdles and challenges he had to overcome in order to make it in his industry. He inspired the students by reminding them that being an entrepreneur is not just about making money or becoming your own boss, but more importantly, it’s about making an impact and creating positive change. He challenged the students to take an inventory of their talents, skills, and passion in order to discover what business they would be able to create and sustain.

Speaking about talents and skills, Pocholo also called volunteers onstage to showcase their talents to the audience. Nine students came up and impressed the audience with their dancing and singing skills.

The mini-talent show was Pocholo’s transition to share the 12 mindsets of successful entrepreneurs. He talked about not being afraid to fail, having a vision and being passionate to be a successful entrepreneur. Pocholo ended his talk with his Pochology “Availability is the best ability,” and challenged the students to be ready for opportunities that come their way.

The Annual Regional Students’ Business Summit was organized in partnership with Philippine Council of Deans and Educators in Business (PCDEB). PCDEB Executive Director, Dr. Amado Magsino and AIB Training founder Al Ian Barcelona were also part of the speaker lineup.
