The VoiceMaster Featured on Philstar’s #KwentoNgTagumpay

 #KwentoNgTagumpay is an online campaign by PhilSTAR L!fe, in partnership with Globe Hope Bank. It aims to gather stories of triumph and hope during the lockdown, and share it to The STAR's millions of followers. On October 12, 2020,  the story of how Filipino motivational speaker Pocholo “The VoiceMaster” Gonzales managed to overcome such adversity was featured on the online campaign. 

Due to the pandemic, all kinds of events were put on hold indefinitely. This made a huge impact on the event industry and ultimately the people in it. Pocholo was one of those who was affected as he lost his speaking engagements which was his main source of income. 

However, Pocholo refused to crumble amid such tribulations. Instead, he was bold enough to become a trailblazer in paths that have yet been taken. He was one of the first few people to offer free webinars during the lockdown. Pocholo used the challenges brought by the pandemic to open opportunities to the people.

Aside from offering free webinars, the VoiceMaster also started the Certified Voice Artist Program (CVAP) during the lockdown. CVAP aims to provide quality training to anyone who wants to get a head start as a voice artist today. 

Students of the VoiceMaster from CVAP were also featured in the video of the online campaign. “Thankful ako kasi I had the opportunity to focus on my voice acting passion na matagal ko nang gusto,” Faith Pastrana, Pocholo’s student, said.

At the end of the video, Pocholo left the viewers with his Pochology “Do something today that your future self will thank you for.”
